Dr. Tasneem Rangwala obtained her MBBS in 1992 from JLN medical college, University of Jaipur, India and M.D. (OBS/GYN) in 1997 from Bangalore medical college, Karnataka, India. 

Dr. Tasneem had her MRCOG in 2005 from Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, London (UK). And selected for award of FRCOG in 2018.

Subsequent to her master degree in obs/gyn she did training courses in Ultrasound, endoscopy and Infertility management and worked in reputed hospitals in India.

Dr. Tasneem has more than 20 years of experience in her work field. 

Dr Tasneem has a keen interest in prevention and management of Gynecological cancers and did resident training in Gyne. Oncology (2000 to 2002) at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, a reputed cancer referral center for South India.

Dr Tasneem served as Lecturer in OBS/ GYN department at St. John's medical college hospital, Bangalore from 2002 to 2004.

After her extensive experience in India, Dr Tasneem moved to UAE in 2006 and worked at Latifa (Al Wasl) hospital, Dubai until 2013, where she gained vast experience in managing high risk obstetric cases and conducted audits on important subjects. For the past four years until June 2017, Dr Tasneem worked as specialist in OBS/ GYN at Zulekha Hospital, Dubai.

Expertise:
Medical and surgical management of early pregnancy disorders, common and rare gynecologic disorders, Menopausal disorders and pediatric gynecology, Hysteroscopy -diagnostic and therapeutic, colposcopy, Diagnosis, staging of genital tract cancers, Antenatal care for normal and high risk pregnancies and conducting normal vaginal birth, instrumental and cesarean deliveries.

Dr Tasneem supports normal vaginal deliveries and trial of vaginal birth after 1 cesarean and favors conservative approach in dealing with all cases, involving patient and their attendants in decision making.

Publications:
Dr Tasneem has published interesting case reports and articles in several international journals and she won the young consultant award for best scientific paper in 2001 in India.

Teaching and Training:
Dr Tasneem is involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students throughout her career. She was a tutor in Dubai Medical College for girls during her tenure in Latifa Hospital. She has been a member of the RCOG representative committee in UAE and is involved in organizing MRCOG Revision courses and exams in Dubai. She has participated in campaigns for prevention of breast and cervical cancer in women and given lectures in various organizations to raise women's health awareness.
